WordPress themes are plentiful. Making a child theme from a ‘parent’ theme is the best way to style a theme exactly as you like it. The site you’re seeing now is a child theme that we’ve rearranged and re-styled.
Why use a child theme? Simple: When a ‘parent’ theme is updated, the layout, style, and features can change, but the changes don’t affect the child theme. Everything a developer has altered, added, or re-styled stays the same. It’s a mild form of site ‘protection’ so it looks like the parent, only better (like some human offspring we know).
